The vision for our client’s new home was to replicate the timeless, rusticated European country style that appears as if it was built years ago - with the use of stucco, board & batten siding, exposed bricks, and integral salvaged timbers. European sourced antiques - such as the exterior doors, outfitted with restored oversized door hardware, dovecote weathervane, copper cupola, French reclaimed stone fountain and mantel are just a few pieces that contribute to the timeless architecture.
The owners downsized to one-floor living space designed to fit their entertaining needs. A flexible dining room was created with the ease of moving furniture around to accommodate the occasion. Custom dining tables double as library tables and the room transforms to a casual offset from the great room, creating a more intimate area to gather.
