Unplugging the right cord from a bundle that is plugged in to a power strip can often lead to a few moments of confusion. Was it the larger black plug that was the computer, or was that the lamp? Eliminate the chaos when you safely label each cord at the source of the plug. Adhesive file folder labels do the trick. Just write the name of the device on the label and fold it over the cord, allowing the label to stick to itself. Wasabi tape works equally as well, and it is available in many colorful designs.
Sort your mail with a spring. The coils can hold individual envelopes, upright, and can act as a horizontal file. Choose a heavy-gauge spring. One can be found at your local home improvement store.
Personalize your home office with these tricks and enjoy every moment that you are working from home.
