DIY Indoor Wine Bottle Gardens

Transform empty wine bottles into glorious indoor gardens. This is one home decor trend that is perfect for lovers of fine wine.

Large o-rings from the home improvement store sit on a base of displayed wine corks that are hot glued into place. Fit a potted plant, or a wine bottle for cut flowers to complete this craft.

Carefully cut off the bottoms of green wine bottles and attach a wire for hanging. Then fill with a combination of potting soil and spanish moss. Add your plant, allowing it to emerge from the bottom. Flowering vines and herbs do well in this style of garden.

Small spouts, baby plants and budding plantings will be elegantly showcased with this DIY wine bottle planter idea. The bottles are cut in half and turned upside down to rest in a glass of water. The cut bottle supports the soil and the plant, while the roots are free to grow through the neck of the bottle.

Here is a nice, and unique way to crete a wine bottle garden for your succulent plants, courtesy of a designer on Esty. If you don't have time to do it yourself, you can order one, ready made.

While these DIY planters use the corks, rather than the wine bottles, they make a nice wall display for small succulents. Water your plants by soaking the corks in water every few days.
