How To Get Your Garden Looking Party Ready

With this amazing summer we’ve been having you’d be silly not to enjoy it by spending as much time outside as possible. From barbecues, to get-togethers, to paddling pool parties, you can get your garden looking ready on any budget, and in any time frame. Here are some ideas for you to make the most of your garden, and get it looking fantastic for your next party. Fairy Lights Show me someone who doesn’t like string lights and I will show you a liar. Everyone loves them. Whether you drape them along the top of the fence, suspend them overhead, or use them to accentuate a bush or tree, fairy lights create a magical ambience that really brings a party together. Just make sure you buy ones suitable for outdoors. Tea Lights Another way to illuminate your guests and garden space is with tea lights, which create a warm glow. Be sure to place them out of the way of children and anything flammable. A nice way to safely display tea lights is with mini-mason jars. They’ll protect the flame from any wind, and if you choose jars with coloured glass they can really bring a party together. Plus you can use citronella candles which help get rid of bugs and mosquitoes. Lanterns Similarly to tea lights, lanterns are an easy way to inject some colour radiance into your event or illuminate a walkway or path.  There is a variety to choose from such as bohemian fabric types or a more classic glass lantern – either way; they all look lovely hanging in the trees in the daylight, even before it gets dark enough to light the candles. Bunting This favourite of village fetes and hipster weddings is the perfect way to decorate your garden for a party, and really helps to hem in the guests to make them feel homely. For special occasions you could even emblazon the individual flags with a personalised message, and it’s easy to match them to your colour scheme or theme. A Gazebo Gazebos provide a focal point which guests can gather in or around, plus they supply the added benefit of protection from the weather. You can jazz up a plain gazebo in many ways such as by hanging lanterns or sheer material, or if the weather is nice bringing out an old rug and some comfy chairs to place inside it. Balloons Not just reserved for children’s birthday parties, balloons can be classier and more grown up. They instantly signify good times and celebrations. A fun idea is to crack a glow stick and place it inside the balloon so that they can glow into the night. Tie them at different heights to get the full effect. It’s so easy to create a special environment for your next garden party so why not give it a try? Go on, get outside and get creative. What are your tips for the perfect garden party? With this amazing summer we’ve been having you’d be silly not to enjoy it by spending as much time outside as possible. From barbecues, to get-togethers, to paddling pool parties, you can get your garden looking ready on any budget, and in any time frame. Here are some ideas for you to make the most of your garden, and get it looking fantastic for your next party.

Fairy Lights

Show me someone who doesn’t like string lights and I will show you a liar. Everyone loves them. Whether you drape them along the top of the fence, suspend them overhead, or use them to accentuate a bush or tree, fairy lights create a magical ambience that really brings a party together. Just make sure you buy ones suitable for outdoors.

Tea Lights

Another way to illuminate your guests and garden space is with tea lights, which create a warm glow.

Lanterns

Similarly to tea lights, lanterns are an easy way to inject some colour radiance into your event or illuminate a walkway or path.  There is a variety to choose from such as bohemian fabric types or a more classic glass lantern – either way; they all look lovely hanging in the trees in the daylight, even before it gets dark enough to light the candles.

Bunting

This favourite of village fetes and hipster weddings is the perfect way to decorate your garden for a party, and really helps to hem in the guests to make them feel homely. For special occasions you could even emblazon the individual flags with a personalised message, and it’s easy to match them to your colour scheme or theme.

A Gazebo

Gazebos provide a focal point which guests can gather in or around, plus they supply the added benefit of protection from the weather. You can jazz up a plain gazebo in many ways such as by hanging lanterns or sheer material, or if the weather is nice bringing out an old rug and some comfy chairs to place inside it.

Balloons

Not just reserved for children’s birthday parties, balloons can be classier and more grown up. They instantly signify good times and celebrations. A fun idea is to crack a glow stick and place it inside the balloon so that they can glow into the night. Tie them at different heights to get the full effect.
